Monday 21th February Piero Boccardo will dedicate his lesson to the personality of the Duchess of Galliera

Monday 21th February at 4.30 pm at Ermitage Italia Foundation, at headquarters of Parco Giglioli, Piero Boccardo will hold its conference.
 
The figure of Maria Brignole Sale de Ferrari, the Duchess of Galliera will be the center of the lesson of Professor Boccardo.
 Wife of Luigi Raffaele Ferrari, Duke of Galliera and Prince of Lucedio, Maria Brignole was an important personality for the city of Genova.
 In 1874 she gave to the city the Palazzo Rosso with a rich collection of painting, created in XVII and then enriched in the XIX, which formed the basis for the first Gallery of arts in Genova.
 Ten years after she gave the Palazzo Bianco to the city, with a collection of works of art, to form an art gallery that was designed to collect works from the Genovese school.
 
In Paris too, she gave to the city the Palazzo Brignole-Galliera, that today it is the Musem Galliera, which are collected many collections of art and it organize temporary exhibitions.
